As a long-established Coventry-based manufacturer, Expert Tooling sought a modern, consolidated facility to support its continued growth and innovation in design and automation technology.
We played a pivotal role in the successful delivery of a new state-of-the-art 75,000 sq ft Technology Centre that brings together five previously separate sites under one roof, streamlining operations and enabling the business to expand its workforce by 40 new roles in the near term.
Acting as employers agent and principal designer for the client our team ensured the project was delivered to the highest standards, on time, on budget, and aligned with the client’s operational and strategic goals. From initial planning through to completion, we provided expert contractual guidance, risk management, and design coordination to ensure construction works were delivered as planned.
This transformative development at Lyons Park, Coventry marks a significant milestone for both the company and the region’s industrial heritage.
The new facility includes high-spec industrial space, front-facing offices, a dedicated service yard, ample car parking, and comprehensive landscaping, all tailored to support Expert Tooling’s advanced manufacturing needs and further establish Expert Tooling & Automation as the UK’s largest automotive equipment manufacturer.
Beyond its immediate business impact, the project also completes the regeneration of the historic Lyons Park, formerly home to Jaguar Cars’ Browns Lane plant, now fully reoccupied and revitalised.
