The project involved 3 separate phases of work as follows:
Phase 2 – The demolition of an existing building and provision of a new three storey building comprising of workshops at ground floor level. It also included office accommodation at first and second floor levels with links to the adjacent buildings providing a total gross internal floor area of approximately 2,280m².
Phase 2A – The development of an additional 450m² of office space at first floor level inside the existing factory and refurbishment of the ground floor below the new accommodation along with the recladding of the front elevation of the building.
Phase 2B – The construction of a new conference facility including lecture theatre inside the existing factory of approximately 670m².
Greenwoods provided Quantity Surveying, Contract Administrator and CDM Advisor services on this project.
Greenwoods have worked with Bosch on various other projects. Some key features that Greenwoods have been involved in while working with Bosch are; working on a live site, integration of complex mechanical and electrical installations, building on brown field sites, tree protection orders, and two stage open book tendering.
