Overview

This project consisted of converting a grade II listed building into 10 bedsit units for rent, including communal areas and a leisure suite. It also includes the construction of a new building to accommodate all these facilities.

Greenwoods have previously worked with Racing Welfare on a project in Newmarket. The project was worth £3.2million and Greenwoods provided Project Management and CDM Advisor services which delivered 21 dementia friendly apartments.

Racing Homes provide social housing for those in need of support from the horse racing industry. They have sites nationwide, in many locations where there is a strong racing fraternity. The bedsits will provide young apprentice jockeys security and comfort as they may be working away from home for the first time.

Greenwoods are providing traditional Quantity Surveying and Project Management services on this project.
