Overview
This ambitious project involves the conversion of this unused cinema in Lichfield City Centre into 38 apartments. The building will also host over 4,000 sq. ft of retail space on the ground floor. The building is grade II listed and was originally built as a cinema. The façade of the building will undergo restoration works in order to maintain the original characteristics of the building.
The cinema was built in 1932 and the auditorium could seat up to 1,300 people. The cinemas final showing was in 1974 and since then the building has gone on to be used in various different ways with the most recent use being a kwik save store.
