Overview
St. James’s palace is the oldest palace in the United Kingdom and it was built by King Henry VIII with Tudor architecture. It was built between 1531 and 1536. The palace has been the home to many Kings and Queens throughout its existence and proves therefore proves to be a vital part of our country’s history.
Greenwoods were appointed to work on the complete upgrade to the access of the rooftop walkway. This project on this prestigious building included removing the existing walkway and constructing new and improved walkways with handrails, and steps over parapets. This was to make the rooftop more accessible and safer. The works also included any repairs to be carried out where it was needed.
