St. Giles Hospice

Overview

 St. Giles Hospice help more than 7,000 people a year facing the challenge of a potentially incurable illness and provide bereavement support to more than 2,000 people every year.

This fast track ward refurbishment project consisted of the remodelling of existing first floor ward layout to provide new state of the art facilities.

The works involved transforming the once open plan space into private individual rooms with en-suite facilities.

Works were carried out in a live environment and out of hours working was often required. The works were carried out above 24/7 occupied rooms below. Therefore, sensitivity towards those occupying the rooms was imperative.
