Overview
This project saw the fit out of the twentieth floor of St Mary’s Axe (‘the Gherkin’) to form the executive offices for AXA Insurance. The works were completed to a very high quality standard.
The project had to take into consideration working on one of the upper floors of the building in the heart of the financial district with associated constraints on materials handling, deliveries and welfare provision.
Works had to be carefully managed to minimize disruption to other occupiers of the building and Greenwoods actively engaged with contractors to ensure method statements and risk assessments were appropriate.
Greenwoods acted as CDM Advisor for this project.
