Overview

Greenwoods provided Project Managment and CDM Advisor services on this £3 million mixed use scheme for Calthorpe Estates. The project was to convert existing offices within a Victorian inner city terrace into ground floor retail units with apartments above.

The project included a large new build extension to the rear as well as glazed shopfront extensions to the front façade.

The building sits within Birmingham’s conservation area and the project is sensitive to the important streetscape of this part of Edgbaston.

To the rear of the properties, four new townhouses were constructed along with associated car parking, new mains incoming services, and public realm landscaping creating an inner courtyard and public garden.
